At Nurdd, we respect your choices. Use this page to permanently delete your Nurdd account and associated personal data. Please read the details below deletion is permanent and may take some time to complete.
Nurdd is a proprietary platform operated by Anycast Technology Private Limited. All platform rights, including intellectual property, are owned solely by the Company.
By accepting this Agreement, you confirm that you have full legal authority to represent your Brand and agree to the terms outlined herein.
1. What this action does?
When you request account deletion we will:
Permanently delete your Nurdd account record.
Delete profile information (name, username, profile photo), uploaded images and videos, bio, and public content created by you (posts, links) unless otherwise noted below.
Remove personally-identifiable information used for authentication (email/phone number).
Remove any referral or credits tied specifically to your account.
2. What we may retain (and why)?
Some data may be kept after deletion for legal, safety, or operational reasons:
Transaction records: Payment receipts, refunds, or billing logs are retained for tax, auditing and fraud-prevention for up to 7 years.
Anonymous/aggregated data: De-identified analytics used for product improvement. This data cannot be tied back to you.
Legal & safety holds: If required by law or active investigations (fraud, abuse), we may retain relevant data until the hold is lifted.
3. Retention periods (typical)
Profile & uploaded media: removed within 30 days of verified deletion request.
Backups and caches: may persist in encrypted backups for up to 90 days before being purged.
Transaction & tax records: retained up to 7 years. (Actual timing may vary slightly depending on system processes and legal obligations.)
4. How to request deletion?
Email us at support@nurdd.com with the subject: “Delete my Nurdd account” and include:
Registered email or phone number
Your Nurdd username
A brief statement: “Please delete my Nurdd account and associated personal data.”
5. Verification & Processing
To protect your account, we will verify the request by sending a confirmation link/OTP to your registered email or phone number.
Once verified, deletion is queued. You will receive an email confirming that deletion has started.
Typical processing time: up to 30 days. We’ll notify you when deletion is complete.
6. Alternatives to deletion
Deactivate temporarily: If you want a break, you can disable your profile in Settings for a temporary pause.
Export data: You can request to download your data (profile & content) before deletion. To request export, go to Settings → Privacy → Export my data or email support.
7. Consequences of deletion
This action is permanent. You will lose access to all Nurdd features and cannot recover deleted content.
If you sign up again later, you’ll start with a fresh account; previously reserved usernames or referral bonuses may not be recoverable.
8. Appeals & mistakes
If you change your mind within 48 hours of initiating deletion, contact support@nurdd.com with “Cancel deletion” and your account details. We’ll attempt to stop the process if deletion has not completed.
