Marketing intelligence for pharma brands

Pharma cannot market the way consumer brands do, which makes AI visibility unusually important: the assistant is answering questions about your product whether or not you participate.

The problem

What makes pharmaceutical and OTC brands different

Assistants describe your product without you

Questions about uses, dosage and side effects get answered from whatever sources exist. If yours are not among them, someone else defines your product.

Promotional rules close most other channels

Direct-to-consumer promotion of prescription products is restricted, so the usual creator playbook does not apply and visibility becomes the whole question.

Misinformation is a safety issue, not just a marketing one

An assistant confidently repeating an inaccurate claim about your product is a reputational and safety problem before it is a visibility one.

Asked every day

These questions are being answered without you

  • what is [molecule] used for
  • side effects of [product]
  • is [brand] the same as the generic
  • best OTC remedy for [symptom] in India

Creator budgets in pharma are set against follower counts, which is the number most likely to be bought.

  • TruAI scores follower quality profile by profile, calibrated for Indian accounts
  • Forecast expected return before the brief goes out, not after the invoice
  • Attribute sales to the product, so you learn which creator sells what

Questions

Common questions

Can pharma brands use influencer marketing in India?

Very little of the standard playbook applies. Direct-to-consumer promotion of prescription medicines is restricted, and OTC promotion is bound by advertising codes covering claims and testimonials. What remains is disease awareness and education, which has its own rules and usually involves qualified professionals rather than lifestyle creators. For most pharma brands the practical surface is understanding and correcting how assistants describe their products, plus analysis of the paid media that is permitted.
