Marketing intelligence for universities

Course selection is a months-long research project run mostly by teenagers and their parents, and it now starts with an assistant rather than a ranking site.

The problem

What makes universities and colleges different

Two decision makers, different questions

Students ask about campus life and placement; parents ask about fees, safety and outcomes. Content aimed at one is invisible to the other.

Ranking sites answer for you

Assistants cite league tables and aggregator listings, which compress an institution into a number and a fee range.

The cycle is annual and the feedback is late

A campaign runs in one admissions season and is judged in the next, which makes in-flight correction almost impossible without leading indicators.

Asked every day

These questions are being answered without you

Assistants answer category questions with a handful of brand names. Noma tracks whether yours is one of them, across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and Grok.

  • best colleges in India for data science
  • is [university] good for placements
  • [university] vs [university] which is better
  • fees for an MBA at [institution]
How Nurdd helps

Three agents, three separate jobs

Nia

Know the audience is real before you pay for it

Creator budgets in higher education are set against follower counts, which is the number most likely to be bought.

  • TruAI scores follower quality profile by profile, calibrated for Indian accounts
  • Forecast expected return before the brief goes out, not after the invoice
  • Attribute sales to the product, so you learn which creator sells what
Noma

Be named when an assistant answers

Category questions are increasingly answered with a handful of brand names, chosen without anyone visiting a website.

  • Daily tracking across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and Grok
  • Share of voice per prompt, and which competitor is named instead
  • A 12-point audit of whether your pages can be quoted cleanly
Pulse

Find the spend that is not working

Read-only access to Meta and Google Ads, explained in plain language rather than another dashboard.

  • Creative fatigue flagged before performance drops
  • Wasted spend pinpointed at campaign, ad set and creative level
  • A full account audit the moment you connect
Questions

Common questions

How do universities get cited by AI assistants during course selection?

By publishing the specifics ranking sites cannot. Actual placement data by programme, honest fee breakdowns including the costs prospectuses omit, course structures, faculty research and student outcomes get quoted because they answer the question completely. Language about world-class facilities does not. It is also worth tracking per programme rather than per institution — an assistant answering about data science consults entirely different sources from one answering about law.
